La Tasca Nottingham supports Teenage Cancer Trust with charity fundraiser

Spanish tapas bar and kitchen, La Tasca Nottingham, is supporting Hayley Roberts of Haylo Treks China through a celebrity lookalike event to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. To be held on Thursday 5th July at 7.30pm at La Tasca on Weekday Cross, tickets cost just £15.

  • With fun for all guaranteed, the evening will consist of performances from celebrity lookalikes and tapas all round as Hayley aims to get closer to her fundraising target of £5,000
  • After her son, aged eight, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and underwent intensive chemotherapy at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham eight years ago, Hayley has been responsible for a series of fundraising events across the city to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust
  • Having sourced the lookalikes herself, £5 of the ticket money will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Hayley’s next mission involves trekking the Great Wall of China with 50 other people, organised through Capital FM, to similarly support the charity

Tim Boulter, General Manager of La Tasca Nottingham, said:

We’re thrilled to be able to support Hayley and align ourselves with the fantastic fundraising work she’s doing. We’re expecting about 120 guests on the evening, but there are still tickets available so please do get in touch if you’d like to pop along, join in the fun and help us raise some money. As well as more tapas than you can imagine and the lookalike performances, a dedicated area will be set up where people can have their photos taken with the ‘celebrities’.

Anyone who knows me will know my son had cancer at the age of eight; now Ashdon is a typical moody 16 year old and I thank my lucky stars he has lived to reach his teenage years. He is my reason for doing all of this.
